"Body of Evidence" on ABC, Dana Delany vehicle was releasedlast night, and the number of serious resuscitation needs to compete with rival 10-hour 'The Good Wife' (CBS) and "Family"(NBC).
Delany stars as Megan Hunt, a former neurosurgeon who bristledbecame a coroner after an accident rendered ineffective surgery skills.
This is the first installation failure: no one I still need a steady hand to perform an autopsy? Or is that whether the evidence is destroyed by incisions unstable if the patient is already dead?
Hunt is rarely in the laboratory, spending, one that must have cut their teeth watching - Viewers soon discover that besides being a former brilliant surgeon, Dr. Hunt appears to be also a brilliant detective "Criminal Law and Order. " of his time flat with the foot of the Philadelphia homicide squad and the capture of the murderer for them.
At first glance, the premiere episode of "Body of Evidence" tired of going to maintain viewer interest. Who does not love Dana Delany? If anyone can make the viewer believe that Dr. Hunt Megan has the innate ability to read suspects Vincent D'Onofrio as Robert Goren, is Delany.
But when you take out of the mix Delany, the writing is weak and the characters seem badly drawn:
The murder case lacked suspense, almost all the suspects were immediately unfriendly and not very satisfactory conclusion.Jeri Ryan is completely lost in his minimal screen time like me Kate Murphy head colorless.Dr. Hunt partner, forensic investigator Peter Dunlop (played adequately by Nicholas Bishop) is an afterthought - it is only used as a punching bag to reveal background of Hunt. The only character to bite as far as Hunt was Det. Bud Morris, played with verve and sarcasm of John Carroll Lynch. As a big fan of crime dramas of the case as "Without a Trace 'and' Criminal Minds', I really wanted to love" Body of Evidence. "But instead of a strong female judge juggling work-life balance, ME Hunt is a strange hybrid of 'House' and 70 and 80 popular NBC series "Quincy."
Do we really need a weekly program on a diagnostician moody and arrogant who saves the day solving complicated murder mysteries and then goes home to an empty apartment?
Cuerpo''de the best parts of the test "(which is not obvious talent Delany) are the scenes in which Dr. Hunt interacted with her ex-husband and his estranged daughter. The glimpses into the personal life of the addict his work is humanized.
I hope ABC can inject a little more for humanity in future episodes, and Dr. Hunt bring down from the stratosphere to analyze criminal behavior and motivation. Otherwise, his ship out to Quantico, Virginia, so that she can reinvent himself again as a Special Agent Hunt.
